Our Academy offers Full-time & Part-time courses in Hair and Beauty training. All training is Nationally recognised. Classes are kept small with a maximum of 12 students enabling students to gain individual attention.

We are located North of the Hobart CBD at 2 Pierce Street, Moonah Tasmania.
We offer any trainee a different way of training than other training organisations, so much as our training is within a commercial salon environment and simulated environment. This is good for trainees as they get a proper understanding of a running business. The students answer the telephone, sell & recommend, consult, learn to overcome difficult situations, clean, use of registers, computers, plus much more.
We as an organisation are registered with the Tasmanian Qualtifications Authority and we are a member of the Hairdressing federation of Tasmania.
Trainees that are unable to obtain government funding or apprenticeships are still able to gain a certificate in the career they want by paying their own way and training either part-time or full-time and we offer their own salon to practice on real clients.
Both Hairdressing and Beauty there is a skill shortage. We do not recieve funding for fee paying trainees.
Our yearly intake of trainees does not exceed 12. Keeping classes small allows the trainee to obtain extra help from their educators.
We recognise that the industry is constantly changing. We are committed to ensuring that our training assessments and qualifications reflect the needs of the industry.
It is important for applicants to attend an interview session or seek an interview with the Principal to gain a greater understanding of how courses meet their individual requirements and career plans.

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR
Trainees should wear appropriate clothing at all times as it is necessary for developing a professional image. We suggest the colour black and a uniform maybe obtained upon enrolment.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW
It is important to look closely at the course content. The Hairdressing and Beauty industry is interesting but it also requires dedication and true interest in helping people feel good about themselves.
